I'll post it when it comes out. Very curious where they put Sale too. He's a 17 year old but he does play against men (on a 4th line and 10 minutes a night). Same age as Bedard but outscored him at the U18's last year. However, I don't think Czechs score many goals today.

He had an interview with TSN and said he was playing with Kulich. Not sure if that is news or not.

I saw that one.. he says loves playing with him because he passes and Kulich shoots. So it sounds like he's in the Top 6. My comparable is Hemsky and I'll be surprised if he doesn't become an NHL player.

It's not a good outlook for the Czechs today.lol I could honestly see Canada scoring around 30 goals in the round robin. I think they're going to run the table as Swedes are missing their Top 3 D. Then an easy quarter for even more goals.

I actually feel bad for Canuck fans as you may not get a competitve match till the Semi's.

Cesko is what Czech people call it and I think, unfortunately, Czechia is what the rest of the world is supposed to call us. I hate 'Czechia'! So I'll go with the Jersey.lol I've never heard Zaruba refer to us as Czechia for instance. and I've heard several TSN guys call us Chechnya.lol

Expecting a pretty good game here, but yeah, that atmosphere will be wild.
I think if Czechs can weather the early storm of 5-10 minutes of Canada pressure without conceding, and maybe pop in an early one, it could be interesting. Otherwise I see a 5-1 Canadian victory.

correct, that's why it is annoying when the TSN broadcasters say it.lol Jeff O'Neil comes to mind. They also still call us Czechoslovakia 30 years after our seperation and despite the fact that there is a Czech team in one pool and a Slovak one in the other.

It's complicated! But I should clarify that Czechia is not North America getting it wrong.. it's the Czechs being stupid. This isn't a controversy per se from that standpoint. My dream is they adopt Cesko and Czechia becomes a part of our complicated history.haha

Sounds like Jiricek will play according to the TSN broadcast. Happy he finally will get to play in the WJC at full power, having a great rookie pro year for Cleveland.
