I know it's not a high priority tournament, but where in Sask? where provincial junior A teams play? 500 seat venues wouldn't be a good look...not even for this low priority tournament. No need for it to be in Canada. I'm fine with how it is... OR...something which I have always supported. Changing the CHL calendar so that teams start the season sooner, play fewer games and end the season by mid April. but the CHL loves its Mem Cup on May 24 weekend.

Regina/Moose Jaw came to mind.

So every quarterfinal game, except SWE-SVK, will be played in the main arena and broacasted by TSN? That's just great...

boooo... that means I will very likely miss all Slovakia's games this year, even if I have access to TSN1-5. The only game that was on TSN had to be on TSN GO.

Edit: I was looking at some stats/data and found out that this Slovak U18 team is the 2nd youngest at the tourney with average age 16.83 yrs. Only the Russians brought a younger team (16.68 yrs) for well known reasons.

based on the date of birth average age of the russians is 16.09 and slovaks 16.70

Geez, talk about an empty arena. I bet there are more players dressed than there are people in the stands.
