Marko Tuulola, former hockey player and Finnish tv and radio commentator, got to witness both of his sons win gold in world junior championships. :handclap: First Joni at U-20 and now Eetu at U-18.

Man oh man it feels good to be on the winning side. Especially 6-1 against Sweden. And Swedes gooning it up in frustration (something that some board members here claim they're too classy for).

All that aside, thanks for the game Sweden. I really was afraid of the comeback until the 3rd period and the 5th goal :)

Hahaha the best goalie of the tournament is again a swedish one in the loosing end of a 6-1 final. Because the finals are irrelevant, the decision can be done before that. The carved names in the trophies is more important.

Woohoooo!!!

Thank you Little Lions! Amazing job!

And thanks for Sweden too. It seems like their team was still fatigued due to Canada game, this didn't look like the same team at all.

WJC 18 5 Finals 0 gold
WJC 20 12 Finals 2 gold

And they do nothing to change the loser culture.

Yeah, rare to see Finland dominating like this. Our guys had Sweden beat in pretty much all aspects, but what I especially loved was our physicality. Last year Finland struggled against big and strong teams as they would outmuscle them in board battles and such. This time however we had a big and strong but also a skilled team. And it showed. Swedes couldn't play effectively as they kept getting pinned and taken out of the play. Finns also threw a lot of hits, some of them quite big too. Add to that a strong defense otherwise too and a dynamic offense and you have a winner.

Finland's development program is mighty impressive.

Keep it up, this is great for the game.

Hopefully we hear more Pulju's and Laine's in the near future as well.

Almost feels like cheating using Puljujärvi for this tournament, didn´t give the other teams a fair chance, imagine if Laine were there too.

Hoorayyyyyyyyyyyyyy we made it.
Right now i don't have words to describe how happy i am.

Puljujärvi was awesome today but so was entire team.
2 gold medals in junior world championships same year is rare.

Puljujärvi is now first Finnish double world champion in juniors.
THANK YOU U18 Team Finland WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS AGAIN.

And now i go sleep bye.

Have to give credit to Ahokas too. Finland's structure has looked good for u18 team.

Yeah great coach. The way he has psyched this team for every game, I like it a lot. He deserves some award for it. I remember there were some Finns that didn't trust on the guy before the tournament hehe.

It was said he's the third player to ever win U18 and U20 same year. Zucker from Minnesota was one and can't remember the other.
