It was a real nice hard ass play, that's the way you need to play.Yep, Hughes didn't expect to be forechecked like that. Nice to see that from the Russian team.
From the one team that has less of an excuse then all others to look that way.He did win the foot race though, the Russian steeped into him and stole the puck after Hughes picked it up. It was a soft play and he gave the puck away because of it, and his 2 teammates also did nothing to either cover the 2nd Russian in the slot or attack the puck carrier. US looks disjointed all around.
He had a head start. He is supposed to win the foot race, but he barely did, because he didn't try hard, and when he did get there his attempt on the puck was beyond lame. That's not about talent, tha's about effort. He did win the foot race though, the Russian steeped into him and stole the puck after Hughes picked it up. You're dreaming. Just hope that Kaliyev will drop down to you. I think GM's are going to be scared to NOT pick Caufield, after Gaudreau and DeBrincat's success.Caufield again!!
Would love for this kid to still be available at 15 when Montreal picks, i'd snag him in a second. Hopefully size will scare teams off.
I know i am, Kaliyev?....................na, i'll pass. You're dreaming. Just hope that Kaliyev will drop down to you. I think GM's are going to be scared to NOT pick Caufield, after Gaudreau and DeBrincat's success.
Yeah, far too much of that for sure.Russia refuses to shoot the puck ; looking for the perfect play
