The argument being made here is not just that the refs are incompetent (which is often fair at these tournaments) but that they are intentionally biased. They WANT the Swiss to win to give Canada or Finland an easier next game.
Horsecrap.

Judging from this game, if they wanted an easier matchup, they should've let Sweden through.

Hollenstien trained by a swede got the zero. Hahaha
Swedes did nothing to make it difficult for the defense and Hollenstien. They didnt fight today. Swizterlamd was much better as a result of that weak effort sseden put up.

I don't get why the Swiss coach was so mad though ? If the Swiss player did not touch it, the Swedes would have got possession of the puck and could organise an attack. Instead you get a face off at your blue line which is not ideal but still not very dangerous ? Plus there's a chance that you win the face off and kill off more time.

Seemed really odd to me.

It let the Swedes reorganize and recuperate with a whistle.

Wow, great job Swiss.

Also, don't worry swedes, Finland will be joining you guys in few hours.

Yep, you are correct.
Well...

If Canada doesn't get to the GMG, they should be really disappointed in themselves. Canada's caught a couple breaks...

* The weakest Finnish team in years.
* No Sweden.

If they blow it, they will be kicking themselves for a long time.

Yikes!
