You missed what I was saying. I am saying that the argument is horsecrap. I don't think the refs had anything to do with it, and certainly not intentionally.Gimme a break dude.
Canada beats Denmark 14-0: "Thank the refs!"
The argument being made here is not just that the refs are incompetent (which is often fair at these tournaments) but that they are intentionally biased. They WANT the Swiss to win to give Canada or Finland an easier next game.
Horsecrap.
A loser like Grönborg got promoted to senior team coach despite losing with some absolutely fantastic u20 rosters. Coaching of the national teams is a f***ing joke.****ing fire Monten already.

I agree. I don't think the refs were intentionally pulling for anyone.Judging from this game, if they wanted an easier matchup, they should've let Sweden through.
I don't get why the Swiss coach was so mad though ? If the Swiss player did not touch it, the Swedes would have got possession of the puck and could organise an attack. Instead you get a face off at your blue line which is not ideal but still not very dangerous ? Plus there's a chance that you win the face off and kill off more time.
Seemed really odd to me.

No upsets in Canada v. Finland please.
Well...Yep, you are correct.
All hail king of the losers! At least, Sweden still have their group winning record.
Hush now.
