Not true.. we are deep at forward... eg. 2 through 12 are pretty equal. But we don't have a gamebreaker like Kulich or whatever Canada has in their Top 6.lol

Should have 4 nice lines once the tourney begins though. 4 second lines.lol I do like the squad and won't bitch if we lose though. Happy with coach and lineups. Obviously, few guys I wanted and didn't get (Badinka, Mrtka and Benak) but time to move on and cheer. I think you guys kicking the shit out of ass would be good for waking us up! We went 0 for 3 in Brno before the World's this Spring. Worked out great! Czechs need adversity!

How you feeling about your boys?
Well you never bitch when you lose, at least not about reffing and such. The management is another story, lol

Thanks for the rundown on your team. I don't really have a good feeling about our team yet because I did not get to watch the Sweden game so I am slightly blind at the moment so tonight's viewing is very important, really looking forward to it.

Have a bit of a concern though that we may have brought too many grinders ( as does basically all the Canadian fans) and may lack a little pop offensively when needed when the chips are down. And as much as I like Mckenna..............I usually hate having to rely too much on such young guys for offense as this team already seems to be sort of doing.

Ideally you want these guys at this age being ones who just have to give you some offense here and there with their awesome talent level when there are openings. You don't want to have to rely on them IMO.

For a good decade.. I pretty much bitched about every team before the tourney. Then deployment during the tourney. Then after we lost I reminded eveyrone 'I told you so'. That's why I say that before tourneys now. We changed our approach and it is much less upsetting these days. We also have more talent than usual so cuts are not as upsetting. But Czechs seem to be putting the right guy in net lately. Not as many line blenders. Playing a more attractive brand of hockey too.

Picking a team for Canada would be brutal. So many players. So many voices. So many opinions. I haven't followed Canada closely yet but expect them to have a very hot start all the way to Semi's. Some lopsided scores. I basically expect them to burn down villages to the finals. Hard pool means favorable crossover. You guys won't face Sweden or US guaranteed in quarters and that's your biggest threat.

As far as the U.S goes. people are saying their forwards are top heavy and I suppose that is so............but it's a real nice top heavy.

I like the talent on those top two lines better then ours........or anybody's for that matter, Teams will have to really get on them and play them nasty.

Willander look okay?
He looks excellent. I was watching him pretty closely as I'm a Canucks fan. Though when a Canada goal goes in I'm more focused on that side of things, so maybe the Swedish fans can tell us if he was at fault on any of those goals.

Fun fact, Czechs have won 2 of the last 3 encounters with Canada.

Took them out in Game 1 2 years ago. Lost to them in finals and got silver. Then eliminated them in quarters last year.

Things I never thought I'd type again after enduring 2006 to 2020.lol

Looks promising before tournament by just seeing those numbers :)

But does anyone have a short recap how the game was between Sweden-Germany?

Hillarious start.. Port must really want Portone to score.lol We should've got a penalty too. We're definitely going to work Hrabal in tonight!

Felcman had a golden chance there.. shot it backwards though. I feel like we have some nervous Czechs right now. Playing in here on TSN under this big a spotlight should help them when the real tourney begins. Shame, Jecho had a great look too.
