On the previous PP he lost the puck at-least three times trying to score from the corner instead of passing the puck to the points... HE is no offensive player, great at what he does none the less, but not an offensive player! Latendresse should get some playing time on the PP, well he should get some playing time PERIOD, no shift yet!
Interesting that despite that, Downie has a higher PPG in the OHL than Latendresse in the Q, but I guess that means nothing as well.

Not really. But Downie's awesome on the PK.

If you haven't already seen "something special" about Kessel, Ryan, Oshie, Wheeler, Schremp and the Johnson's, you have some catching up to do, you're a bit behind everyone else.
Still don’t see it RIGHT NOW.

He made quite the PK mistake there. Had time to sail the puck out of the zone and instead gave it up to the point.

EVERY time I defend him, he goes and screws up!

For those that don't know, Oshie is an Inline GOD. I've seen him play twice during National tourneys and his puck skillls are frickin amazing

They mentioned it the last game and it's true. He has picked up 5 inches easily in the last 18 months

How has Schremp and Cogliano looked so far???

Cogliano's looking good

Hit a crossbar, and his skating skills are opening lanes everywhere.

20$ he won't get benched for that! I guess that he and Sutter have a "special" relationship...

I won't be taking that bet. Downie and Sutter definitely have a good relationship going. Sutter loves Downie. Although benching Downie wouldn't be a smart thing to do, least on the PK. He is good on the PK.

2-2 after 2. Should be a great 3'rd period. May the winner progress quickly to the finals. May the loser take a longer road. Here's too a rematch in the finals, my Canadian friends.

The Americans look like they're getting tired, especially the defense. Canada should stay patient and wait for their chances...should they even need one. A tie is a win for Canada.

I do

OK, maybe not Wheeler, but there definitly is magic on this team
Good players, nothing more… I thought they were da shmit ! I was expecting to see something like Bure-Mogilny-Fedorov magic… But hey, they did tie Swiss…

Ok, so Pouliot gets another stupid penalty and STILL gets icetime. While doing squat on the ice. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Tender is riding the pine.

There must be something between Sutter and Tender. Really must be.

The big difference in this game, I've noticed, is Canada's play along the boards. They're winning those battles, and thus their forecheck is causing the American defense fits. Scheider has looked strong, as has Pogge. Aside from that, I think it's been a great, entertaining game...and for the most part...pretty even.

I know, Downie is a good player and does what he has to do. The heat I give him should directly go to Sutter for overusing him...

Anyway, I was being sarcastic because Pouliot and Latendresse got benched for less then that!

Points, but goals, something different. Latendresse is a pure scorer. Downie is a shlit disturber. Will amount to nothing more.

Sutter being from Alberta, he probably votes conservative and we all know were Harper stands about gays :propeller

P.S.: Sorry for the stupid joke, it was just to easy...

Canada looks like the faster team to me. I thought the Americans were suppose to be the faster team?
