I use IIHF, and yes.. it is really poor. I wish they hadn't changed it from the one they used last year (which btw I believe was a Swedish product /stats service :))

Wouldn't surprise me if Djurgården will look to sign Kalgoum, they have been monitoring prospects in the second tier league and from the Stockholm area quite closely it seems.

Yep they have, I wish they could pick up som defenders.. ;)

Looks like we have a hard time to score on Austria. Not totally unexpected..

Go Sweden, Go Salmonsson!
Now if only Steen and Nilsson could score a goal

lets hope Eckerblom can score his first point in the SEL after the WJC :) His current league stats don't look very good, lol

I like how the scoring is distributed over the team.

yes, me too.
Also good to see that most of the key-players have points..
and especially Johan Fransson who will lead Sweden's D

Game over 7-0 Sweden.

Defenseman Johan Fransson scored the last two goals for Sweden.

I must say I didn't think this team could score this many goals against any team in this tournament. Well done!

A report of someone who actually saw the game would be interesting...

I just read a report with the Swedish staff over there and here are some comments on some of the Swedish players.

Johan Fransson (started out on the bench actually, but when he came in he played well and scored two goals)

Alexander Steen (was good, scored a goal and actually hit the post 3(!) times in this game)

Joakim Lundström (good in net, not having an easy game since he did not face that many shots)

Johannes Salmonsson (was very, very good, showed that he is a brilliant hockey player)

this all according to Sweden's team manager Peter Forsberg.
