As long as you get out fast, it should be a good goal. He got out about as fast as humanly possible, Russian ref said he didn't get out fast enough. Just a botched call by the refs.

Fortunately, I can't see a stick causing concussive damage the way a puck would. It's likely a bad cut, which would be a relief in the grand scheme of things.
