We had a committee on our lack of skills, we made some changes

Massive beatdown and we lost our first rounder in Jiricek.lol

Slovaks just outplayed us after a slow first. We did not rebound in anyway. They looked beautiful to be honest.

I still like the team though and think we have good pieces... if you're going to get smoked, day 1 is the best possible time.lol

Slovaks have been pretty decent recently but that wasn’t a score I was expecting to see. Still lots of hockey left to be played though.

Finland is playing a good game here. The D are very tight and narrow and they giving up the outside and the Canadians are trying to skate through the middle in the slot...where there is no room and end losing the puck for a quick turnout...Classic strategy against NA team in Europe. Canada needs to set up and work the D apart.
