I'm very interested in the CZE vs FIN game, I think they can compete with the Finns this year.Well played Czechia, you did outstanding
Nice comeback Canada.. down 3 -1 and opened it up!
Good luck rest of way.
Also potentially one of the worst pairings defensivelyOwen Power Rasmus Dahlin is going to be one of the best pairs in the nhl if they pan out and stay together
Sweden would have had our lunch tonight.
Classy as usual, along with most of the Czech fans here. Other than a very few who went squirrelly (on both sides), this was a pretty friendly, level headed GDT. Again, best wishes to Jiricek.Nice comeback Canada.. down 3 -1 and opened it up!

Christ, has S. Wright even touched the puck all night?
First overall pick my ass.
He was bad tonight.Kent Johnson:
0 assists
0 goals
0 shots on goal
13:40 TOI.
ouef.
I really liked Sweden, I think that team has a lot of potential. It's not a powerhouse team by any means but I think they are pretty solid all around.Russian goaltending was abysmal, Sweden really wasn't that great.
I hated that hit (at any level and any league) and thought it should've been 5 and a game but that didn't affect the outcome of the game. It was over the second Jiricek left. And, even before that, I didn't think we were winning. I was enjoying it till then though.lol Literally, the ONLY thing I cared about was injuries in a schedule loss. And here we are!You guys deserved the 3 straight penalties that changed the direction of this game but we deserved a 5 minute major for your chance to turn it around at the end. I'd be pissed if I was you. Your sportsmanship here is admirable. Good luck the rest of the way.
Til they play in the opposing zone permanently. Also potentially one of the worst pairings defensively
I dunno, I am not liking what I am seeing so far but like you said, it's early.Power, Bedard and lot of others. But you could be right in that some of your players need to step it up when the playoffs begin and guess what, they most likely willI´m thinking of Wright and some others. He has not impressed me and so far I can't understand the fuzz.
That´s the thing though, you can win against a decent Czechia without every player showing up. In my books that could be a sign of strength. I believe Sweden could be up there with you guys this year. I thought Russia as well but they have some serious problems with their goaltenders. 12 goals in 2 games...
If we get back Jiricek and Krutil is in.. then maybe we can keep it close. Finns are awesome though and they are really good at beating us. I just hope we can eke out a win against Germany tomorrow and HOPE we beat Austria. mostly though, I just want a good report on Jiricek who every bit looked like a Top 10 pick to my eyes.I'm very interested in the CZE vs FIN game, I think they can compete with the Finns this year.

Have not been impressed with him at all in the pre-tournament game or this one.
Said it in the Kent Johnson thread
His own coaches have noted it at Michigan
Kent Johnson is not great at zone entries
He is prone to turn it over in that area
Beniers is the primary handler through the neutral zone on that line for the Wolverines
great player
But you see it in this game, he turns it over in that department
