This was just very predictable . I’m super happy about this. When it’s all said and done , his playoff numbers and intangibles will end up being the best in the draft class, mark my words. You all remember getzlaf squaring off with jumbo joe opening draw in the playoffs . This kid will give us moments like that. Ans we need that desperately! So excited !

It’s a down draft year. If you can get a good 2nd line center that plays with an edge, that’s not too bad.

We cant fret over what the other 10 guys in this draft turn out to be....its a crapshoot. We knew it was going to be this way. Some happy, some not. Its done.

A couple scouting reports mentioned he's got good acceleration but a short stride which affects his top speed. Something like this will be sorted by a skating coach with the Ducks in no time.

Perry is from Peterborough and played for the Petes AAA program growing up.

McTavish comes from the OHL Petes but played his minor hockey in the Ottawa area
