This was just very predictable . I’m super happy about this. When it’s all said and done , his playoff numbers and intangibles will end up being the best in the draft class, mark my words. You all remember getzlaf squaring off with jumbo joe opening draw in the playoffs . This kid will give us moments like that. Ans we need that desperately! So excited !

It’s a down draft year. If you can get a good 2nd line center that plays with an edge, that’s not too bad.
Wanted Eklund but Mctavish seems like a really good player! I think a lot of people remember Nick Ritchie and are a bit skeptical but this guy shot up the rankings and I’m not so sure he would’ve been available too much further down. In madden we trust

Go to the 2:04 mark of this video (I think I have hit starting off at the 2:04 mark, though). Actually, this video is a great resume for McTavish for all to see.
Even if Mason doesnt turn out to be a #1 scoring stud, he should solidify himself as an every night player as our 2C.

A couple scouting reports mentioned he's got good acceleration but a short stride which affects his top speed. Something like this will be sorted by a skating coach with the Ducks in no time.
