Seems to be the early theme of the year unfortunately. But I have no complaints with their play as of yet. To me they were easily the better team on the ice

Thats the feed I'm watching. He just said they're calling the game from Winnipeg on all road games. Its very odd the way he keeps saying it though.

Beyak is driving me crazy with this. I know he said that’s where they are right now, but can you not see there’s no players in front of you?

Decent period. Fred looking solid and I liked the way most of our lines fought to get the puck back.

Wish the top line had a little more attention to detail, it'd help keep the puck on their sticks. Get in the lane, make the higher percentage (or backed up play). Matthews was weak on the Scheiffle chance and Marner had no need to turn that puck over in the final minute for a 3on2 against.

Small complaints though, overall a good period

Solid period overall. Seemed to lose it a bit at the end but killing 2 penalties isn't going to help... not saying they were good calls either.

They are staying in on the forecheck. Every line for the most part looked pretty good. Need a little puck luck but keep playing like this and they should get a bunch of chances.
