Hopefully showcasing him for a potential trade. It appears they are going to continue pushing Stanley.
The 17th overall pick they spent to draft him which included giving up the 23 and 36th overall picks to trade for him. They want him to get some nastiness and grit it sounds like
Personally prefer Fleury his skating is excellent/ better than Stanley’s but there’s something in Stanley’s game they’re trying to get that Fleury doesn’t have
In honor of the Jets visiting the Climate Pledge Arena, I’ll be driving my 2002 diesel Ford Excursion to do my errands today.

Breakfast: Donuts + Red Bull = 15 seconds of prep time.I don't know how I'm going to manage to watch this game. It ends at nearly 2:00 in the morning for me, I have to have the kids up at 7:00 make them breakfast and lunch and get them to school by 8:00.
Then seeing guys like Tage Thompson, Jordan Kyrou, Alex DeBrincat, Filip Hronek, Samuel Girard, and Adam Fox get drafted after him........The 17th overall pick they spent to draft him which included giving up the 23 and 36th overall picks to trade for him.
Hell's ya buddy forgot about thatNo classes tomorrow for both HRM and CBRM, so we're good to go lol
Creepy
It's hard to be disappointed in the team but Barron needs to pitch in and soon or he might find himself rotated out of the lineup. A I seems to have his role cemented with the team but a goal or two would be nice. I'll add Vilardi he came close in St. Louis, he is past overdue to score and when he does I hope he goes on a streak.I'm hoping the 4th line can get a point or two tonight. Would love to see Iafallo and/or Barron get a goal.
Mm….Food album is one of my favs.An ode to The Winnipeg Jets, @kanadalainen and MF DOOM

Hmmhmm...
Ahoy! - he's not talking chocolate chip cookies in your piehole
Grab a mic like a hockey stick and put the biscuit through your 5hole
The kind of guy to check a rookie with his head down
Hitting the bookies is your best bet while we're visiting your town
No need to frown... or drown in debt!
We have captain Adam on deck
Even though we rep a Jet, our ships sail is set
Catch a Kraken in a net... and maybe put a few pucks in em
If there's games of hockey to be played, the team from Winnipeg is winning them
Speaking of captains, I'll pass on the Morgan barkeep!
Instead, give me a shot of Appleton through the goaltenders crease... neat
Now cease and desist with all that darn pollution!
The villain pledges a solution:
Quit goofin, time to clean up your act on the ice Seattle!
Or you'll need some for your jaw after we clock you like Mongo in Blazing Saddles
Now excuse me while I whip this out!
Then skedaddle off to that weird barn in Alberta
Blow a kiss at a cowgirl and promise not to hurt her
Just make sure you tell her where to find the best team in the league.
That'd be?
Why, in Manitoba!
The holders of the President's trophy, 82-0, once the season's over
Hopefully showcasing him for a potential trade.

It's hard enough teaching English to college freshman; teaching Stumbly anything would be impossible. No idea, but I miss him and his posts. Always upbeat. A while back i checked to see when he posted last and it's been very intermittent since the draft
BTW.. are you calling HIM a big ugly guy who wrangles fish, or are you referring to the fish that he wrangles?
I'm sure @Inanna can help you with your sentence structure to make it more clear lol
We need to plan a road trip to Seattle with all the west coast Jet fans for next year.I’m out of town right now other wise I’d try to see them play
Had a good experience with Seattle fans earlier this year they’re a friendly bunch
That is KANA to you!Until we find the resident HF Jets bard, Chat GPT will have to do
In ice-bound clash, the Kraken face the Jets,
A storm brews fierce, as foes align to fight,
With every pass, the tension softly sets,
In Seattle's home, where hearts ignite with light.
The Jets take flight, swift as the winter wind,
Their skaters weave like shadows in the night,
But Kraken's grip, unyielding, won't rescind,
Each check and shot, a dance of pure delight.
The crowd erupts as goals ignite the score,
With every save, the hope begins to rise,
In this fierce duel, the stakes are hard to bore,
As dreams unfold beneath the brightened skies.
So let the ice bear witness to their might,
In battle's thrall, they chase the gleaming light.
It feels like us fans have gone down that road a hundred times, yet still no trade.Hopefully showcasing him for a potential trade.
