And one for @Inanna

This post has me semi-recalling a "Hottest Hockey Mom" competition or something that the Winnipeg Sun did years ago. A bunch of semi-attractive (at beast) older women dressed in hockey equipment or paraphernalia in lieu of the daily Sunshine Girl

Pretty sure I'm blocking it out for a reason

My apologies to all the ladies in HFJets nation for what I have apparently started

Seems to me the trick of creating a positive and welcoming environment is to talk to women the same way and on the same subjects you'd talk to men, with a focus on hockey, and any flirty stuff to a minimum. Anything gender specific (e.g. joking about how hot AJF is) should be minimal and respectful if you have to do it at all.

Great rule of thumb

That said, my wife doesn't always love it when I talk to her like i talk to my buddies lol

This weather is YOUR fault then .
This weather is gorgeous. We flew home yesterday and passed up the chance to see the game in San Jose. It's been raining all day in San Jose and never got above 45F. It may be chilly here but I'll never complain about the sunshine. Instead I'll complain that some of our bags made a u-turn in Calgary and got sent back to LAX.

That sucks, lots of problems flying these days. I absolutely love the sun but as a golfer and member of a course i want to go golfing damnit . This would be great weather in January but for basically April, not so much. I use the word golfer very loosely by the way.

I believe the Masters Tournament starts in early April, and that's always the first sign of real spring for me. Keep the faith -- the heat is coming.

I hear ya. I'm chomping at the bit to get out to get out to the lake. Our place isn't winterized and is a good hundred+ yards off the nearest plowed road so it gets pretty snowed in. I go out as soon as my truck can navigate the wet/snowy dirt road in and the evening temperature doesn't drop below -10C.
