Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Still can't believe the Jets traded him.
The future seemed so bright with the rookies they had come in that year. Couldn't have been further from the truth. But that was a fun season. Probably top 3 after 17-18 and 84-85
Any chance that there was of me still following the team and cheering for Phoenix evaporated after that trade. I stayed on until the end of the season, and that was that.

If the Coyotes do end up moving to SLC, does anybody know if that could be an opportunity to officially "get back" the history of Jets 1.0 as part of that?
Salt Lake City gets a new team
Phoenix and the Coyotes get the Coyotes history and will retain it when/if Phoenix gets another team
Winnipeg gets Jets 1.0 history

My hope is the NHL will return the Jets 1.0 history to Winnipeg.
There is precident in the NBA when the Charlotte Hornets 1.0 moved to New Orleans.
Charlotte got an expansion team a few years later named the Bobcats.
The New Orleans Hornets rebranded as the Pelicans and the Hornets 1.0 history was transferred to the Bobcats who rebranded as the Hornets.
