It's been 12 years and the NHL still has not returned the original Jets history to the current Jets. There are similar examples in other leagues so there is no good reason not to do it especially when the future of the Coyotes is up in the air.
I don't want Quebec, Hartford, or Houston to claim our Avcos.

Jets seem to use the old logos/AVCO banners/retired numbers/history anyways, whether or not the rest of the league acknowledges it.

Fun one I randomly came across that I hadn’t heard of before.

The Winnipeg jets drafted Kirk McCaskill in the 4th round in the 1981 entry draft. He went on to play 1 season for the jets AHL affiliate in Sherbrooke in 83-84.

The interesting part of the story is he also played 10 seasons in MLB as a pitcher.

I had never heard of this gentleman before but to play pro hockey and baseball is something.
