Am I the only person who wants to punch the dude in the Chevy commercials? "How's that for not getting stuck?"

He should not start the third.

Why...give Helle the full night off. The odds of coming back from a 4-1 deficit are probably less than 1 in 20. Save Helle for the next game.

That was a different point... but if you insist Buff, Myers, Enstrom, Chairot, Stuart have all been terrible. Trouba a little less terrible... And separately Little, Perreault, Wheeler, Stafford all invisible. Lowry terrible

Well, these Anaheim broadcasters on my stream called Enstrom a small forward, I actually thought you were making a joke in reference to that haha.

I disagree because if Hellebuyck's confidence is shaken after one period of play, he is not the franchise goalie of the future.

On top of that, the team needs a change.

Confidence is one thing - this is more of a message to Hutchinson and the other players. Let him dangle out there - 7, 8, 10 goals.

the Atlanta core needs to be moved on....same old same old for the last 5 years....the coaching need to be looked at also especially huddy and Vincent....they both have been here since the get go!

What "Atlanta core" they played a few months together there. Buff and Ladd were from Chicago and played one season in Atlanta kind of like Hainsey here. Wheeler was a Bruin and was only in Atlanta for 23 games just like Stemp or Jiri for the Jets.

Sorry but they may have been assembled briefly in Atlanta but its a lazy narrative to assume somehow they picked up some stink in Atlanta (not saying that is your intent but it has bounced around here since day 1)? They are the Jets 2.0 core through and through. Sadly 6 or 7 years from now we may look back and say they were our best core and we hung them out to dry.

end rant :D

I'm watching Banished instead. Good night people. I'll watch the highlights later.

I'll take a guess at the save percentage - 0.768

This team is so mediocre it hurts.

I don't want to get off topic into tank talk here. But I think most of us, including the team knew this was the season defining road trip. We needed a good 5-0, 4-1, 3-1-1 type trip. Going .500 or below on this trip is about as season ending as it gets. Hopefully management has a plan together for when they get back to the Peg.

Because it's only one period, Helle hasn't played a lot of games this season and the next game is tuesday, enough time to recover.

what messages are those?....looking at the record of wins and loses and play on the ice this season, seems like the team has deaf ears

Armia is being rewarded with ice time. Ehlers is being unrewarded.

It's not about shaking his confidence, what's to be gained from throwing him into this wreckage? He played last night.

Of course they have a plan. It's draft and develop. Build from within. It's a process bro, why do you have to be so impatient? :sarcasm:
