I was a fan of the WLAF during their brief tenure. To this day, my most surreal memory was watching Wembley Stadium blowing the roof off when London won the coin toss.

That, and when Barcelona botched a very easy field goal, I recall Dick Vermeil's legendary line: "Every kick's an adventure in the World League"
