It's Labour Day. It's usually a loss by the Bombers regardless of how good they are.
 
Bombers usually dominate games by winning the trenches and not making mistakes on special teams... O'Shea has been particularly stubborn in keeping things the way they are in both of those areas and now have become pretty glaring issues. Getting Janarion Grant back is one thing, and maybe Mike Miller's eventual return (?) will help on the other side too, but it's all the other 11 players in coverage that are troublesome.

Bombers are reminding me a bit of the 2018-19 Jets... they just think they can turn it on when they need to and win... still haven't seen a clear angle on the OT conversion

Dolegala had a decent game but Bombers should be better than this - they are not going to match up well with Toronto.

Here's my game notes even though I skipped the second half and admittedly rewatched it after I already knew the score...
- Osh personnel decisions are hurting this team - they need a DL rotation, speed on ST and they need to strengthen the interior OL - use the vet designation to our advantage already ffs
- There is still no real gunners on ST when Gauthier is not there to lead... who is the captain right now?
- Parker was fkn awful - those rouges lost the game - didn't think it could be worse than McRae's bounces but I was wrong
- Someone should have ripped Robertson's helmet off after that play
- Buck is ignoring the quick out to Oliviera - or someone is... that option to Harris is what helped Collaros survive - teams know its not there this year
- Kramdi maybe is not the best SAM... but everyone will look soft if Hall does not have a fresh DL through the whole game
- Bighill has not lost a step...
- Giving up points casually like that is just nuts in the CFL... Bombers are too cocky this year

I logged in with intention to post my game thoughts. I'm still too pissed off about the 2pt conversion that Sask DIDN'T GET. It was clearly trapped by Bane. It should have been going to a 2nd OT period. Like this is OBVIOUS EASY STUFF for CFL to correct. If they don't care if the games are played fairly, why should we? Like f*** off. This shit really pisses me off.

That was a catch IMO. It was close for sure but there was no disagreement in the room of 10 people I was in that it was called right. You see one of those almost every game.

Putrid first quarter cost the game. This team has to forget about their record and play the entire game including the first quarter. Happened in the first Lions game and again yesterday. The the head butt was disgusting. Bad look for the league made worse by Dickinson not removing his player from the game. The Bombers are really missing Haba and Hansen from the D line rotation. J. Grant would help as well.

The fact that Miles Fox is just sitting on the PR baffles me... Hall needs a heavy rotation on the DL - that is what has worked the last three years...

With how late the flag was thrown, i don't think they fully saw it.
 
What blows, is after the headbut the Bombers grab the lead but then lose the game anyway.
 
Was travelling during this one across the country, just caught the highlights... I thought we already had the 'wake up call' loss this year earlier...

Any bright spots? Love O'Shea, but sometimes he drives me nuts... We shouldn't be giving up singles, let alone decline a no yards penalty to give them one...

Onwards and upwards - any NFL cuts on the horizon that could bolster our team? Gotta be at least a returner available soon?? (I don't remember timelines)

Personally, I think it was accidental. I think he was just trying to bow to honour the greatest QB in the league, and just got too close. :sarcasm:

Well the league has set a precedent, only one game for a head shot. So be it then. Dolagala better be wearing 4 chin straps next week.
