Gauthier and Darby both moved to 6 game IR, so its legit injuries apparently. Gauthier just got off 6 game IR 2-3 games ago.

Honestly right now Gauthier is the bigger loss. With his ST work. Bombers have refused to play Darby on D except for injuries. And I like Parker as a backup DB probably better than Darby, more versatile

That sucks about Gauthier...

I'd really take Daramy-Shwarmy or Miles Fox on the roster instead of Burtenshaw and Jackson

CFL teams often dress 2 FBs, FB and LB are catch all positions for STers.

Last year was 1960. After a break through Grey Cup in 1958/2019, Bombers followed it up with a dominant GC win in 1959/2021. Then despite a dominant regular season in 1960/2022 they suffered a stunning upset in post season play. We are now in 1961/2023 for the start of another back to back Grey Cups in 1961-1962/2023-2024. :naughty:
Fullback passes always seem to work.

Labour day is here again.
I love Bomber football.
They are now way ahead of the Jets as my favourite team to watch. If I had to choose between going to a Bomber or Jet game the Bombers would win 10 out of 10 times. I feel this way not because the Bombers always seem to win but because the entire Bomber organization is just top notch classy.
What a difference from 10 years ago when the Bombers were a joke organization. Brining in Wade Miller as CEO was the best signing of my 55+ years as a Bomber fan. The team culture change the minute he came aboard.

It really did. Half the price, twice the fun

As much as Osh's unwillingness to use the new ratio rules drives me nuts, I do really respect his commitment to Canadians. 100% agree... I am way more engaged in the Bombers since Miller took over.

When Miller had his press conference after he hired Kyle Walters I remember both saying that the most important job they need to do immediately is improve the quality of the Bombers Canadian talent. They were very successful so it does not surprise me that O'Shea has a soft spot for his Canadian. As long as the Bombers are winning this is not an issue.
The real test will be how O'Shea and Walters react when their Canadians and the marquee Americans players are getting to old. Will loyalty trump their judgement?

It didn't with Harris... right or wrong... I think the biggest threat right now is our belief in next man up - Kola is no Couture and Maruo/Gauthier are not starters... but hey we are still winning and its fun

Helmet gets ripped off, automatic 15

Can always count on teams playing undisciplined against the Bombers.

Collaros hasn't been great since he took that hit to the head.

Up until that play that resulted in the roughing the passer penalty I'd felt the d-line had been just as lackluster as the o-line. Little to no pressure on passing plays. Dolegala is overthrowing all on his own.

At least the contain has been solid but the pressure hasn't been there.

Self inflicted damage. Until Sask can move the ball without the Bombers making two huge terrible plays colour me unconvinced this score is repeatable.
