Classic Trevor Harris. Puts up huge yardage but doesn’t win
This, this right here. I've been saying for years, this guy is just not a winner. He's money between the 20's, struggles outside of them. Sure 3 very ref helped TDs today, but this guy is just empty yards year after year. He's not the guy you want leading your O.

I must say I am glad you have put your villain arc behind you because you and I are agreeing way more than I ever thought. Maybe it’s because the Bombers are winning.

Another solid post, and I appreciate your contributions to this thread even if we don’t always agree.

Well this team sure is fun to watch...

Offence
Buck and Zac in sync - would like a bit more screens because I think team will pick up on the tendency to throw into double coverage - but I mean this isn't even a criticism

OL was super solid - even with a phantasm call on Bryant

Defence
Boundary side seemed a bit sloppy with their tackles - thought field side was pretty solid

Biggie may have lost a step but dominant at reads... with the new DA rules, there's no excuse to have Gauthier out there on a running play - or ever actually... team needs to step up American LB scouting

Still not a fan of Clements...

Special Teams
I'd like to see a real ST specialist on the roster... bullets like Hansen and Miller are missing but I don't see the replacements

Missed converts make me cry

But villain arc's are more fun!

I appreciate your contributions as well. I agree the Bombers winning helps heal all wounds. I feel like the Bombers may hit a rough patch from time to time this year and we can have plenty of arguments don't worry. I don't see this being a smooth 15-3 season again.

I'm not seeing what you're seeing with Clements. I like his game more and more. He doesn't have the typical LB pop maybe, but he moves real well and makes plays. I think he's had a bit of a statement start to this year after all the pre-season hype about Barrington Wade. He was primarily the coverage LB last year until the Kyrie Wilson injury and I think that'll be the plan once Kyrie returns, but I saw him step up in the run game a couple of times today. Albeit the Riders only ran a couple of run plays all game long.

As for ST specialists we have Redha Kramdhi, Nick Hallett, and Tanner Cadwallader. All of them I saw on key plays today. These guys are key contributors. Are they Mike Miller? No, of course not, but Miller might make the HOF as a ST cover guy, which as far as I know may be unheard of. Thiadric and Miller will give a key boost to the ST coverage units later this year.

My game thoughts will come tomorrow. It's almost midnight and I had a couple drinks for the first time in months due to issues in my personal life. For now let's just enjoy the 2-0 start, next week we play the best team outside of Winnipeg, IMO, so the real tests begin right away.

I mean criticism after a dominant win is just nitpicking haha... but after all those years of losing, we can't just gloat.

Rider fans can now head home to their miserable lives!
