I don't like our chances. Vernon Adams always seems to play well against the Bombers. Given they are in the dome and O'Shea seems stubbornly set with his 6 d-linemen (most teams go with 7 or 8 d-linemen) with minimal rotation to give rest to aging vets like Jeffcoat and Jefferson who should only see 60-70 % of the snaps, I think Adams will pass for 300 + yards easy.
The bombers have to hope to limit at least a few of those drives to field goals (any hopefully some Adams' interceptions which he can be prone) , while the offense can afford few two and outs and need to maximize their drives with tds, not field goals...unlike last week's game...to keep pace Also need some lengthy drives (8+ plays) to limit the number of times the Lions' offense is on the field for the game.
A slow start by the Bombers on both sides of the ball, likely puts the Bombers behind by 3 scores at the half, and too far behind to mount a comeback. Adams is a legit starter and not a backup or third stringer like the Bombers have faced the past few weeks. Don't expect him to fade or let up if the Bombers figure things out after a couple of lacklustre quarters.
