I basically don't give a f*** about the rest of the league so even the playoffs don't really excite me that much. I used to watch every playoff game I could, but in recent years I find myself caring less and less. Although that's kind if my interest I sports in general. Well. Theres some work to be done by Fitz. Thats all I'm gonna say. Aint gonna be easy. Fixing the goaltending, fixing coaching staff, extending Bratt, probably adding some secondary scoring. He knows he will be out if next year is as bad as this no matter what would be the excuses.

If he keeps Ruff, he will go down with him like Shero went with Hynes. I dont think he will be that stupid. We shall see.

Literally ALL FOUR GOALS WERE STOPPABLE TONIGHT!

The only reason they didn't score 6 was because Blackwood didn't allow a couple goals he had no chance on, like last game.

This might have been part of a three way tie for his worst game this year, along with the Arizona game before he got shut down and the game in Boston in January shortly before that.

If we expect to compete for the playoffs next year, we are going to have to start beating teams like the Red Wings and Columbus.

The Wings were unfortunately the better team tonight and deserved to win. They controlled the puck and controlled play when they wanted to. Of course we were icing half an AHL roster.

With how long the hope and insanity with Cory went on, I'm less inclined to let it go on with Blackwood.

And what happens with Blackwood if he has a good season next year? We sign him for 3-4 years after only having one good year on this deal and being just a year removed from a miserable 55 game stretch of goaltending?

That sucks and all for sure but they got outshot and kinda dominated all game. The whole team sucked a giant dick once again against a garbage team to boot. These losers haven’t won at home in a month, all that bothers me as much as the goaltending.

We need scorched earth with our goalies. I give Blackwood like a 20% chance of being decent with us, but he can't be 1A next year.
Once the season was completely lost I was fine losing 5-6 as long as our young kids played well, and it was so blatantly obvious the goalies we're the cause of most of our problems. Like yes, we we're super strong defensively, but half of that is probably the system.

ALso no way I want Ruff back, but if his HC career is over. I wouldn't mind bringing him back as an assistant of some sorts. Not even on the bench, but just be around our young players who like him. Between his old age, and coaching for us and the Rangers maybe he doesn't want to move.
