Absolutely.Spits with 2 goals in last 3 games. No one stepping up on the team. Once Rangers figured out how to slow the top line this series shifted.
They were horrid out there. Not sure what the game plan was, but as soon as they entered the Rangers zone, they just quickly took weak shots from 40 feet out the entire game. There was seemingly zero effort to create an actual cycle or forecheck. Bizzare. The good news is they are a much different squad at home. That's one frustrated Windsor team. Abraham can't give up the puck like that. They've had bursts of energy tonight but this feels rather "let's just get to Game 7."
BlahI'm as frustrated as anyone about this. They had lackluster offence and couldn't get anything going, even the top line. Going from 3-0 to a 3-3 series gives anxiety and "what do they do now??" The Rangers have all the momentum and are looking like the defensive stud they were all season. However, I'd rather have G7 at home than at the Aud. Anything can happen, and a lot likely will, but this is the reason you win the division. Get the home ice for this specific game.
U r right anything can happen in game 7.No such thing as momentum in a deciding game as anything can happen. Squad has been dominant at home all season. Greentree was out of it tonight, has another 48 hours to recover and assume Spellacy should be back. Need to hit the video room and change the power play a bit.
I agree game 7's are a crap shoot, but you can't ignore how by either the Rangers changes on PK or the Spits lack of execution on the PP, the fact is they did not look good on the PP the past 3 games. Momentum clearly riding the way of Kitchener. The pressure is now on the team who was up 3-0 is now 3-3 m that will give fits to a young club. Being there before and getting through a tough series isn't what anyone on this club has experienced yet. Can they do it? Absolutely. We haven't had any bounces but dig deep and the bounces csb return. I'd say equally that Parsons will feel thd pressure of being a savior. I expected and forecasted a 6-7 game series, did not think it woukd be 3 gsnes straight for both sides now.No such thing as momentum in a deciding game as anything can happen. Squad has been dominant at home all season. Greentree was out of it tonight, has another 48 hours to recover and assume Spellacy should be back. I'm sure they are LOLYou know Kitcheners looking at that lineup going… “ahhh f#%*”
So glad to see these guys back in, even if one of em gets a late scratch
Nevermind.I'm sure they are LOL
Despite the injuries, besides one major hiccup, I think Joey’s been pretty solid. We need a high scoring game. Hopefully we can find a way to rattle parsons, and maybe it has to be the crowd.
Parsons will play just normalI'm confident Windsor can take this. It's not going to be easy, nor should it be, but they've been almost lights-out at home. As long as they don't have any more injuries, I have faith.
He hasn't stolen a game yet for Kitchener.Parsons will play just normal
Spits win
It sure does seem like our team really did hit the injury list much harder than any other team in the league. I must admit all year long I have not figured out why we have never had set lines, it just boggles my mind. Listening to the game in Kitchener the announcers kept eluding to the third line of Kitchener that has played well all year and is now going head to head with the Protas, Greentree and flavor of the week line. Outside of this pairing of tree and Protas we have not had any set lines all year. Another thing that kinda made me go hmmm is why would he put a 16 year old line mate out there with Protas and Tree ? No disrespect to the young fellas, but lets face it they are just not at that level and are not what those two need to form a power line. It is almost as if it waters the line down instead of making it a power line.Ok listen ive gotta vent. The injuries have been debilitating no question. But lets ask the question, why? Im looking for a new strength and conditioning coach in the off season. The person thats currently doing it didnt get the job done! Now coaching, they havent adjusted to kitcheners adjustments. Those which are easy to see what theyve done. Yes were down guys but yesterday is pretty close to all weve got to use and the team was flat. No excuse to come out flat!!! I will say this, the play of Protus the last couple games tells me im right and another year of junior is needed! All around way to cute without the will to get to the tough areas. Way to many lost battles and an overall lack of drive. Im not sure how with whats on the line!
Ok rant over lol. Can they win? For sure! If they get back to playing the kind of hockey they are capable of. Theres a great deal of talent here, i think maybe more than some know but you gotta play hard, coasting and being cute wont cut it. Lets see which team shows up Tuesday.
I must admit all year long I have not figured out why we have never had set lines
Luckily our Playoff PP is twice as good at home, but man it’s been lazy. Costanzo’s had to bail out the PP far too much for my liking.
