I'll never quite understand the instigator rule in the league. You'll see guys square off and one get the instigator, while Nesbitt is still holding stick/gloves and nothing.

Nice Eastern road trip later in the season isn't a bad thing, nothing like a road trip to build more chemistry down the stretch here. As mentioned no teams should be taken lightly regardless of where they are in the standings. The Pete's seem like a more defensive style team, so could be a low scoring grind it out type of win tonight.

The Spitfires need to come for battle and bring a good structured gameplay regardless of the team on the other end. No light games at this level of hockey and need to bring it on a game to game basis to be successful in this league.

Hope to see Froggett perform well tonight. Team also needs to play a well rounded game in front of him. Hoping for a great weekend and 6 points on this 3 game eastern swing.

Go Spitfires Go

Strohak instigated the fight so that won't count towards Greentree.

I haven't seen all of the penalties yet from the third so I'll wait and reserve comment about that.

That said, 7-1 final. Shots were roughly 38-26 Windsor. I know you SHOULD beat the Petes, but that's a tough team and have been playing better hockey. Three of their last four games were decided by a goal (the other was two goals).

They should have beat Sarnia and Flint last week but didn't.

Penalties up on the OHL site. Windsor will likely lose Walton for two games. It didn't say second fight same stoppage but they got 5/GM each. Kaiser for Ptbo is gone for a while, two GMs in that situation. Greentree only got 5, wasn't really given a choice with that. Most everyone else in that incident got 10s.

So what do we have for suspensions? Greentree 4th fight? Belchetz is at how many? Walton apart of the second fight same stoppage? Even though Winegard was pretty much jumped? Nesbitt serving #2 of 2 tomorrow?

Two points. Fun hockey in a fun old school Barn. I could see being locked in second allow them to slack off, but they showed some fight tonight

Greentree got instigated on so he's not suspended. Belchetz is at two towards the limit as the Kitchener one was instigated upon. Walton's surprises me given the Kaiser "fight" was one-sided, penalty-wise. Nesbitt serving 2of2 tomorrow.

I didn’t realize there was the instigator, missed it over the intercom, it was hard to keep track of all of those penalties.

So Belchetz has one left?

Walton’s is a bit surprising as well, but it was a little bit behind the play? I don’t love it because that was the only fight with two “fighting” penalties, but… it seemed play had halted, then the fight broke out, so I get that suspension fitting the reason the rules in place.

Greentree instigated on because he got put in a headlock before the fight. Walton puts Young in a headlock and starts throwing punches at Young while he's still in the headlock and nothing extra.

Also didn’t realize at the Kaiser incident that he already went with Belchetz earlier
