I don't know what it is about their slow starts. You can't allow them to control the offensive zone like that. Joey deserves better. Maybe they're looking ahead to Peterborough?
Teams r ready to play against soft play..

Not a good game tonight, Spits played more physical in the 2nd and 3rd....but could not muster much offense. Spits have now lost back to back and play tomorrow afternoon against the Peterborough Pete's. Whatever the problem is for the Spits at the moment.....they gotta fix it.

It's an absolute must they score the first goal tomorrow or they will fall right back into this funk. Pete's will come out after a rest tonight and will be looking for blood. I'm assuming they will go with Froggett tomorrow so this could be a long long weekend.

Absolutely must Windsor shows up for puck drop. Can't have another bad 1st period.
Coaching needs to have them ready.
Leaders need to lead..

Beltchz and Lemieux win gold. Lemieux with a goal and an assist. Need these 3 back in the line up.
Who would’ve thought we’d be dependent on our 3 16 year olds to return lol.

Thought Brockelhurst had a good first game. Didn’t look out of place really, just a bit undersized. He’s not pushing any of our 08s out, but it gives me more optimism for the future.

I do still think that this could be the year Bowler goes in. There is potential any of Greentree, Spellacy and Protas are gone next year. And it’s not out of the realm that Belchetz moves directly to the NHL after his draft year.

I’d like to think next year is our shot, and with this weekend, I hope the flu is going around, because it’s been a rough couple games.

It’s not even that we lost games, I’m not all doom and gloom, but the way we’ve lost them, it seems like there’s some disconnect and they’re looking sluggish.

If this was an eastern trip I’d be far less concerned. Shouldn’t have bus legs for a Saginaw game.

Tonight was just sloppy hockey. Really a bad first period and then two mediocre periods of hockey. Weird hops, bad possession and turn overs on both teams the last 40 minutes.

The top line Abraham Protas Greentree were horrible defensively. Trying to hit home run passes and Greentree especially slow to get back in the zone. Just look at their plus minus last night. The kids were fine all with a zero.

Another brutal game. They didn’t deserve to win but yea take the points. Walters and crew need to set this straight! Frankly im disappointed in the effort yet again. Our heavy hitters were passengers including the Capt. Lazy and uninspiring to say the least. Lets not sugarcoat this. Since the 3 rookies left they have been flat. Its not up to rookies to inspire. Leaders need to lead, coaches need to coach thru this. Thats not happening right now.

Well it was not pretty but much needed 2 points. More concerned how they fare on the road trip starting in NB Thursday.
After these 3 games this week seemed to be sponsored by Xanax. They didn't seem to be that engaged. Glad they got this one. Bowler knows more about this group now. Prove on the margins get some depth.

I like Spellacy and he's been ok but after the summer and training camp. He needs to be more impactful imo.

Man the Greentree empty cage, he had all day to switch to backhand and put it in and the 3-0 breakaway with Spellacy, Walton and Davis were prime chances with nothing. Looked like the puck was bouncing today but man, simple mistakes that could’ve put this one away early.

Greentree looks like he’s trying to be back in 25-26. Not sure if he’s just trying to do too much or what. Abrahams taking awful angle shots that are resulting in breakouts back in our direction.

I agree, expecting Spellacy to have a break out year that hasn’t happened. I feel similarly about Davis too. Expecting him to have a little chip on his shoulder and tearing it up. Neither have been ‘bad’, I’ve just had high expectations for these guys to go off, and they haven’t yet.

Oddly, Gaymes and Morneau are the two I frequently get excited about seeing out there. Credit to those guys, as it seems like everytime they hop over the boards, they’re going. They’re firing the puck, making hits, and getting involved in the play.

Protas has an insane shot, but until tonight he’s been silenced a bit. I’m not a fan of the constant line juggling, but we may be do for a little mixup.
