At least! Let’s go ice dogs! Sure the spits could pull off an upset… but given what else we have this weekend, I wouldn’t bank on it.

Just another game giving up 5 plus goals.
Leading league by a big margin on giving up goals..
 
Not going to comment on the actual game except that I thought Schaefer and Misiak were the two best players for Erie. One was the 1st overall pick and the other was the 1st overall pick in the import draft. The Spitfires can get plenty of quick help if they have a good Priority and Import draft.

Spellacy hits 20 goals, Davis has 20 goals, really good production from 06's.

Regarding who to draft, I would go with Valentini. He is 5'9, can still grow a few inches. He is a center and is an elite playmaker with eyes at the back of his head. We need a guy like that, have plenty of fast wingers that can score we need a playmaker. He posted 9 points in 4 games in the OHL cup last year as a 14 year old. We don't know his stats yet because the GTHL does not post them, but if he has a monster OHL Cup I think you have to take him.

And in the import draft, unless you have someone like Konsta Helenius willing to report you have to take a defenseman. NO excuse not to get a d-man that is a 1st or 2nd NHL pick in the import draft.

Rychel was part owner and had 2 Memorial Cups in his pocket.
 
Like others there is no sense commenting on the game itself but it was more entertaining than most others have been lately.
Can't see Spellacy being pasted over at the draft. Might be a late round but somebody will remember him after 2 more months of hockey. This will be the biggest hurtle for Spits fringe players. Others still playing and being noticed while nonplayoff team players get forgotten.

11 straight now. I really do hope they can can scratch a win out somehow. Tough ask on the road against the top 2 teams but it is junior hockey. Maybe Saginaw sits players for the last game if their spot is solidified? Maybe Costanzo has a stellar game? long off-season if they go out with 13 straight losses. Be safe.

I heard the cup was only for the first few in attendance and the posters they were giving out after the game were gone before the end of the game. I remember when the use to do giveaways and stuff like that. It doesn’t seem like they care about the fans like they used to
