if he didnt, there would of been questions on why not....Lmaoo Savard took Michelone out now. Should never have put him in...
Wright has been good, but not dominant, I can see why Seattle sent him back.I’m just curious if Wright knows how to score when there is a goalie in net. He needs to pick it up on the PP when it is struggling.
I can see why also. He does help with his back checking ability but he struggling to put puck in the net. Not that we need his scoring but would be nice to have when others struggle.Wright has been good, but not dominant, I can see why Seattle sent him back.
Dioncio & Castle at the same time had the same coachesI don't know about Castle, he doesn't seem to be fitting in as easily as the other additions. He's probably more of a project than a regular contributor, which I guess is fine at the bottom of the lineup. I haven't seen anything out of him yet that makes me think he's going to be a good player, but then again I haven't seen anything that makes me thing he's going to be a bad one either, he's just sort of there for now. I think that Niagara team was a disaster and we're trying to undo a season or two of poor development on this kid.
PP is like 1-10 this weekend. Be nice for him to at least step up in those situations when others struggling. He hasn't needed to be THE guy, though. That's a good thing.
They might on Thursday lol. North Bay is just behind the Spits in goals. At least Windsor didnt give up 10 goals tonight....
Wrights 2 way playing is fantastic. Wright only had 8 shots coming into tonights game with 5 goals. How bout some puck hogs actually set him up with the occasional pass in the slot. He has been setting up everyone and usually has 2 shawdows. This weekend was all about zero defense and not Wright who is averaging 2 pts a game. 16 GGA in 2 games. That is not an offensive problem. Side note, great game by Greentree and Spellacy who has been really breaking out with limited minutes.Wright has been good, but not dominant, I can see why Seattle sent him back.
The lazy drop back pass is not helping us gain the zone at all.PP is like 1-10 this weekend. Be nice for him to at least step up in those situations when others struggling.
I think what makes things worse here is Oshawa isn’t really that great of team this year and this is the effort the team shows.
Dionicio at least had the world junior experience with Switzerland to build off of prior to showing up here. He was a bit more ready to step into an elite level team because of that I feel. He's also a much better player than Castle it seems.Dioncio & Castle at the same time had the same coaches
I really hate that drop back pass. Maybe i wouldn’t mind it if it actually led to something besides a turnover lolWrights 2 way playing is fantastic. Birkett played 2-3 shifts each period including the 3rd. He was a zero for the night so didn't hurt us defensively. He played cautious which is more of what we could use.Keys to this week - get healthy and work on the D. You allow nine goals and something is seriously off. The offence is fine and will be fine for a while. Getting Peer back will help, too, as he'll replace Birkett who... did Birkett even get a shift? I don't remember hearing his name.
He hasn't needed to, but for what Bowler paid for this Rental, I expected a lot more than what we have seen to date.He hasn't needed to be THE guy, though. That's a good thing.
