He is rated as defensively strong as a forward.Isn’t wright suppose to be a pretty good defensive guy? I thought i heard that somewhere. That would help a bit
Can’t see it but Wright and Hache for Mieds, Christo and picks would be well rec’d.Hache going with and Cristoforo coming back?
Thank you. That’s a plus then i guess. I’m trying to be positive here.He is rated as defensively strong as a forward.
Just Wright fixes nothing. At this point, I just want to know the return...
Just Wright fixes nothing.
Already getting texts from friends/family in Windsor about it - so I disagree.Just Wright fixes nothing.
Well these players have to sign off on the NTC so who knows what Cristoforo thinking if rumors true. And your losing cristo!!!
This is a Tough day as a Spitfires fan.And your losing cristo!!!
That’s my point. D and G need upgrades. Scoring is fine. Will SW improve D, yes but not the same as another D. Also need to replace Christi’s minutes on the Blue line and PP.Wright is a better player than Miedema ( right now) and the picks are meaningless. So it would improve the team just not sure it will be enough without 1 more older D.
Just remember you never know. Ebert was suppose to be special and had a pretty good rookie year and it only ended up going south for him. This is a Tough day as a Spitfires fan.
Yes I’m ok losing Mieds and Christo if getting SW and a solid defensive D^ lets see what the return is first.
you’re right - Cristoforo is one of my favourite 16 year olds to ever Lace up for the Spits. But you‘re absolutely right.Just remember you never know. Ebert was suppose to be special and had a pretty good rookie year and it only ended up going south for him.
I think getting Greentree and Spellacy in the same draft helped a bit...Assuming Cristo is in the deal, there's going to be some painful years ahead for Windsor. Big guns that could have been traded next season to restock the cupboards no longer an option, and the '06 group run for 2025/2026 looks a lot less promising. Management has all their chips in for this year, while really banking on goaltending as-is to come through for them. Ballsy but scary strategy.
