Something I have not seen before, Spits tonight are dressing 8D,10F
Birkett, Baisov and Foudy are the listed scratches.
Roster change Henault in,Birkett out for clarity.

Really?
That doesn't make sense.
Really leaning on 2 lines.

D'Amico leads the Spits on the ice for the pre-game skate. Yes, Henault is in. Mrs. O'Flaherty is at the game taking pictures of her son. Jodoin is in. And my fav Spit, Sobolev, out there too. Looks like Downey getting the start. He's getting most of the shots in warmup. I could be wrong. Ladd tosses puck to young kid. Peer is flying out there. They're beating Downey high in warm up. Jodoin has a hard shot. Random thoughts.

If I'm Savard I pull the team back to the dressing room and hop on the bus. That was a goal. There's no point in playing the game if the referee is going to make arbitrary calls to ensure the outcome like that no-goal crap. I've seen bad calls in the OHL and that one is a new gold standard.

I agree. The puck went off his right leg then bounced off left leg in with no direct change in motion as in redirecting. Be nice if Medina could stop the 1st shot on goal. Yikes. Henault not impressive yet, pro return to junior blues?

Hate to say it as it is early in the season but Smith looking like a Spits killer so far. Looking like a 1st rounder than a 2nd rounder. Would be nice if he was sporting a Spits jersey with his local connection and DJ

You might be right... I didn't see any kicking motion but I'm seated at the other end of the rink. Replay on scoreboard didn't seem to show a distinct kicking motion either.

It didn't look like a "kicking motion"; he directed it in, but I didn't see that clear "kick."

I know it's been almost two years, but this Knights' broadcast feels very "we're so amazing!!" It's making me laugh a bit.

My favourite all time Spit was DJ. I was very disappointed when we didn't pick Colton for nostalgia's sake. Now I'm torn but if we have to take it on the chin against the the hated Knights it may as well be Smith that does the damage

Somewhere
Medina needs to be more aggressive with his glove. Gets beat there a bit. It just seems he isn’t aggressive on his angles and leaving to much room to shoot.
