WINDSOR
Branch looks worn out and tired in that interview. Obviously some tough negotiations over the past year trying to get things going again. I like his missing Flint and adding SSM into the American teams lol.

Sorry guys, I've been out of the loop for a few years, just life has gotten too busy to keep up with the Spits like I used to. I no longer have Cogeco, and am looking into livestreaming games. In past years, I tried out NeuLion and was very unimpressed by the experience, but I don't think NeuLion even exists anymore. It would appear that the CHL has it's own streaming service now? Have any of you tried it out yet? Just curious how the quality is, if it's a waste of time or if it's worth purchasing a subscription.

He was talking about border relations. The Greyhounds have a very good relationship with both the Canadian and US border folks

You would think watching your teammates go low right goalie side not working someone would try coming back low glove side. Medina played well. 1 point is better than nothing but they had that 1 goal lead and then played sloppy all of a sudden. Bad break for Zito but why is your center the last man back on a breakout? Medina was hung out to dry there.

Or why is he trying to go up the middle right in front of goalie with 2 opposing players coming at you?

Tough loss.

Medina with the slow start again but played well the rest of the game.

Nice to see a mix of vets and rookies contributing on the scoresheet that have been relatively quiet so far.

I know they're playing with 11 forwards should be carrying 14 but Savard has these lines mixed up pretty good and so far most seem to play well with different linemates on a continuous basis.

One of the biggest surprises so far has been Jodoin. He's playing limited minutes but doing a solid job when he's out there.

Lots of work to be done. Early going and they're 1 - 1 - 0 -1.

Good effort today! 1 point is better than nothing! Entertaining game, look forward to Friday night in London. Side note.....Cody Morgan will never have the makings of a varsity athlete

With so much offensive fire power on paper, im wondering why Windsor is having so much trouble scoring.
Its not from lack of chances, as Windsor has outshot their opponents in all 3 games. Perhaps its bad luck since Windsor’s first 3 games were against the 2 best goalies in the OHL.

I bought Thursday's home opener to see how it was going to be... today I bought the entire season. For the home games you get the Cogeco feed. I thought that it was pretty good.... not sure how the away games will be. Not a bad option since I can't be at the arena this year.

Cogeco shows most away games with some exceptions on the U.S. teams home games. You will be all set for every game if you purchased the season through CHL live.

I’d have to agree with you last statement. You aren’t going to beat those 2 guys on clean shots much. Need to get the dirty goals or get them moving from side to side to beat them. We are getting a taste on how teams felt playing against 64.

Well Saginaw and Erie are not on the border like he mentioned.
No, but that doesn't mean they don't also have a strong relationship with border services. It actually makes perfect sense for them to have a strong relationship. And given the turmoil Flint has been in it's not surprising if they don't

When you lose in the seventh or eighth round of a shootout, it's a pretty decent overall tilt.

It wasn't the start the Spits wanted, being down 2-0, but it's the one they're getting used to. They can't keep crawling back but, as long as they're doing it, that's what counts.

The defence needs some fine-tuning; too many missed plays that left Medina hanging out to dry. On the other hand, if the offence can figure out how to finish, they're going to be deadly.

That said, Brochu kept them in the game. Without him, it's not really that close, despite what the shot clock said.

Medina's going to be alright; just needs to get past that "two goals in the opening three shots" trend he's started.

First OHL points for Birkett and O'Flaherty plus first OHL goal for Abraham. I like Abraham's game; he's shifty, gritty, and reminds me of a better version of Ryan Moore. I did chuckle at O'Flaherty jumping up after the goal that led to his point. Props on the celebration!

Roughly 2700 crowd, but it's Thanksgiving... I didn't expect much more. Also worth noting - did anyone hear ANYTHING about "Pink in the Rink" before today? I saw it on Twitter around noonish but that's it. Tell me I just missed it the last few days?!

Yes,no doubt playing against 2 of the top 3 goalies in the league the last 3 games has definitely affected the goals for category, have been the better team 7 of the 1st 9 periods they have played scoring chance wise and territory advantage wise imo, dont have the results wins wise, however after a terrible initial outing I am pleased getting 3 out of 4 points.
Have only allowed 5 goals in the last 2 games, only 4 at even strength, Medina a little better in game 2,and overall solid the last 2 periods today, the OT and the shootout facing 8 shooters only allowing 2,that's Medina I like to see
Bad giveaway in the 3rd with a little more then 5 to play the cause of only getting 1 point instead of 2,Windsor the better team at that point of the game.
Interesting 14 of 18 skaters have garned at least point,3 D ,Ride,Deangelis and Jodoin and 1 forward Oliver Peer are the only ones without a point.
Looking forward to the rematch at London Friday night.

well, you faced the two top goalies in the OHL your first 3 games. Brouchu and Gaudreau would be the reason you had a hard time scoring through 3 games. You guys will be fine. Might need to address your goaltending but your offence is going to be fine.
