Two things are true here. Team is going nowhere with Ruff and Vitek will never be the same here again.

I mean he needs that 5th goal, don't get me wrong. But you just conceded 2 goals and then you let a guy cut across your net with next to no resistance. Maybe call a timeout after the f***ing Draisailt goal??? This team is f***ed beyond belief

Tom needs to do two things, get a goalie and fire ruff. If he cant do either he needs to go himself as well.

Problems go deeper than that. We are broken on defense too. The turnover to Draisaitl is the one that turned this game around. Bahl can’t try that pass. Then Vanicek loses it on the subsequent rush. If we don’t make that one turnover right after McDavid ties it, this game is probably still tied.

Last game you get a goalie swap and they don’t attack the net. They got gassed by the Ducks.

Are the Devils better down a goal? They can’t play with leads.
