Whoops. Haha yepWhen you said Selke, did you mean Smythe?

That makes more sense. He'd certainly be the Leafs candidate right now.Whoops. Haha yep
IMO what really got him going is that the regular season ended - playoff Nylander has been money in the bank for a number of years now. That said, I'm in such an ebullient mood that I'd be happy to buy you a beer anyway. It was my criticisms that got him going
All of you can send me beer money. You are welcome
He's European. Basically it.Seems like Toronto media really want Mitch to feel special, or cater to his agent or something. I mean, sure, he’s good, but the way they speak about his goal (out of 2) is just bonkers - it’s a clear “whiff it away at goal and not lose the put to the rushing Panther”-shot, that Bryzgalov totally should’ve had. Meanwhile, no one even bothers to talk about how amazing that play by Nylander was, that was some elite hand-eye in high speed.
Whats up with that?
If he’s a 3rd wheel, the first two wheels might be Patches and Domi. Not bad for a "3rd wheel" lmao
Patches is a god sent I was giving him a hard time but he’s been amazing if it wasn’t for him we’d be complaining a lot more than we are that much is for sureIf he’s a 3rd wheel, the first two wheels might be Patches and Domi.
If we're talking playoffs, Nylander is Batman while Matthews and Marner are Two-Face and the Riddler. Not bad for a "3rd wheel" lmao
Kniesey is robinIf we're talking playoffs, Nylander is Batman while Matthews and Marner are Two-Face and the Riddler.
Yeah i didn’t mind him being in the lineup, I just assumed he would get injured after the 1st period. He’s been great.Patches is a god sent I was giving him a hard time but he’s been amazing if it wasn’t for him we’d be complaining a lot more than we are that much is for sure
It's not just the hands, but doing it at those speeds. He's got the nasty hands. The goal last night and the 2nd goal in game 1.
How many players have hands like that? 5 or so players?
It was my criticisms that got him going

Willie was born in Calgary ... he is a Canadian by birthHe's European. Basically it.
We want good ol Canadian boys.
He definitely has been a revelation. It's nice to have a team where they no longer curl up in the fetal position when things go wrong. This team seems to be a team...not core 4-5 or whatever and a bunch of mercenaries on 1yr deals that are here just to leave in the summer after they get the TO bump for salaries.Patches is a god sent I was giving him a hard time but he’s been amazing if it wasn’t for him we’d be complaining a lot more than we are that much is for sure

Willy's made enough of those spectacular plays this playoffs that we've become jaded. "Ho hum, another one." It wasn't until I saw another replay at a stoppage that I realized he'd shaken off contact, outrun coverage, and kicked the puck up to his stick before burying it.Seems like Toronto media really want Mitch to feel special, or cater to his agent or something. Or Patches and Knies. If he’s a 3rd wheel, the first two wheels might be Patches and Domi.
Wouldn't the Tkachuk brothers be Too-Face and maybe Marchand the Riddler? After all, Two-Face and Riddler are bad guys.If we're talking playoffs, Nylander is Batman while Matthews and Marner are Two-Face and the Riddler.
That was kinda my point lol, obviously an exaggeration but their playoff performances leave a lot to be desired.Wouldn't the Tkachuk brothers be Too-Face and maybe Marchand the Riddler? After all, Two-Face and Riddler are bad guys.
