Should have kept Kerfoot.
Since 2014-2015 playoffs he is 2nd. for plus minus.
You joke but Kerfoot was a bit above even at ES, for the record.

You got to start with William Nylander," Boudreau said on Tuesday, via TSN. "Look at what he's done for the Leafs. And you know what? Every time he scores, he smiles. It's pretty cool. And with all the Leafs injuries this year, whether it's Auston Matthews or anybody else, and they've had a lot of them, he's been the bright shine, bright, shiny light, and he's kept them where they are.
So William Nylander is No. 1 for me, No. 2 on the 'nice list' has got to be the Washington Capitals, and they're doing this without their leading goal scorer back in the lineup," Boudreau said. "So I mean, I got to give Washington Capitals and their staff and everybody else great kudos for being where they are
Uh oh. Be prepared for the cheerleader crew to make up stats and declare you know who the greatest of greatest Leafs. lol.Bruce Broudreau nice list, Willy is #1. Shocking because Willy doesn't lead the team in points. Guess the former NHL coach thinks goals are more important.
Hopefully not - we don’t need them invading the Nylander thread.Uh oh. Be prepared for the cheerleader crew to make up stats and declare you know who the greatest of greatest Leafs. lol.
Kypreos says Berube giving preferential treatment to Nylander.
Former NHLer Accuses Leafs Coach Craig Berube of Preferential Treatment for William Nylander
Former NHLer Nick Kypreos has called out Leafs head coach Craig Berube for his preferential treatment of superstar winger William Nylander.www.mapleleafsdaily.com
All I can say is no-poop.
There is a balance, but I think most understand this isn't a houseleague or a user-pay for ice-time league.
But it does bring up something I've suggested several times in the past.
Quality over quantity.
3 forward lines
1 penalty kill line
6 defenders
Same Cap Hit divided by fewer players.
If you happen to luck out with a few ELSC contracts, that's a bonus.
It’s not unusual to play your best goal scorer more than others. The tone of that article and Kypers take is more than a bit presumptuous. Nylanders out there because the coaches are fine/want him out there not because he gets to do what he wants
Is that anything like Wayne Manor? It’s hard not to like Willy with his always positive upbeat manor
I don’t think it’s preferential treatment.
He’s doesn’t trust Nylander as a centre and doesn’t trust him on the PK so he makes him play the full pp in exchange to get ice time.
He is also statistically the most likely guy to get a goal on the team. Probably a good reason to keep him on the ice.
