Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Best part is he is showing it's true by playing the way he is after getting paid. Turning into a real Captain material type of guy.
another thing to remember about willie, not only does he WANT to be here, he went on record saying he would take a team friendly deal if others would as well ... then auston promptly signed his big $ deal for short term ....

If he took a team friendly deal while the others took all they could, he would be a fool. If Matthews had taken a team friendly deal, and Nylander still took his current one. Then you could say, Talk is cheap.

Yep and Willy was paid significantly less on his last deal than the other two. For the back half of his deal he was underpaid by a solid 2-3M while Marner was overpaid by 1.5-2.5M for the majority of his deal. Funny how that worked out.

If they aren’t worth their deals, blame the GM, he’s the one handing out the deals. If he signs Robertson to 4 years at 7 per are we going to cry about Robertson?

Clutch goal on the empty net. He just keeps racking up the goals. He should be a shoe in for 40, hopefully tops out over 50.

Guys like Matthews/Marner became superstars relatively early (in AM34's case it was immediately), but it's been extremely satisfying watching Nylander's rise to superstardom

He was always the one out of the three who got the most criticism and wasn't given the prime minutes early on.
He never complained and I have never once heard any teammates or coaches call his dedication into question.
He has just continually improved when many others players would have folded and made excuses.
He will never be a extremely tough player and will frustrate sometimes but he's a world class player who seems like a great teammate.
Amazing player, perfect attitude to thrive in this market and doesn’t shy away from the big moments.
Grateful we locked him up for the next 8 years.
