In what world? "Snizz" in this generation refers to sniping. Snizzbone would just be another way to say sniping.

I think it more has to do with protecting Nylander saying something publically that he would regret and saves him from reading negative comments about himself every day

Google it....first hit

Surprised anyone is down on Nylanders performance to date. Babcock is purposely increasing the difficult level so he can learn and be humbled. One step back, two steps forward.

I've brought this up a few times. His starts are usually in the D-zone, add in that whoever he's setting up can't score to save their life and you get what you get. The guy hit the post, set up PAP who got robbed and basically gift wrapped a goal for Boyes all in one game and came away with nothing. For the people who are complaining or criticizing what more do you want from him?

He's got all the tools, hes overflowing with talent.

But the sooner he realizes he can't float in this league the better. It's the first league hasn't been better than everyone else. In the A he can float around poke pucks turn up ice and bury. Not in the big boy league.

Needs to find that compete level to get down in the corners and play without the puck

this myth that he floats really really really needs to stop..his issue isn't floating it's in transition he gets caught too close to the puck carrier or he miss times his zone entry...it's all in his timing. That will get better....but please stop with the floating stuff it's getting really annoying. Does his board work need a bit of work probably but the kid back checks, he takes his man, he doesn't leave the zone early..He's been great defensively.

To be honest questioning his compete level is quite insulting really. Imagine going to your work and watching you and then saying....you know you need to compete harder, get after it more.

You don't produce the way he has and get to the level he's at, at the age of 19 with a crappy work ethic or compete level. Give your head a shake

I want him to have two new line mates.

Would you guys think about moving Nylander if you drafted Matthews and signed Stammer?
For a stud defencemen prospect or player?

Absolutely that would be considered if there is no room in the middle. He's certainly doesn't look like he has the makeup of a winger.

If you're a Florida Panthers fan and were offering Aaron Ekblad, I reluctantly accept.

relax champ, Don't put him on a pedestal like he has nothing to work on. He needs to position himself better when playing without the puck. Nothing shocking for a young play. I don't see saying he floats as a big insult but he needs to learn to be more efficient and make sure he's in a position to get the puck. He and the coaching staff want him to have the puck as much as possible and you do that by being in a good spot to progress the play forward. Go get the puck rather than waiting for it to come to you. This is probably the biggest thing all NHL prospects deal with it's hardly cutting down Nylander.
