If he was a solution,he wouldn't be sitting out tomorrow
I'll do you one better. If he was engaged, involved and playing hard every shift he wouldn't be sitting out tomorrow.

If he wasn't part of the solution he would be waived by now. He told the media himself he was playing piss poor, that's why he's a likely scracth. Think some rest will do him good, especially this game. He will bounce back, for sure.
Some of the guys in this forum have a bad habit of targeting spesific players. Now its Zuccarellos turn. I fail to see that he is the main problem on this team. The top players sure as hell hasnt shown me antything even close to the skill level they should be playing at.
Best thing for Zuccarello is to be put on waivers and hopefully be claimed and get the hell out of town.
Ny Rangers is not the place for him.
I like how you insist on going after individual players instead of the team. With the exception of Dorsett, thats rather pointless atm. (Yes, Im a hypocrite)
Bounce back to what exactly?
To play less like urine? To the way he has played before? Like a (bouncing) ball that hits the floor and suddenly changes direction back to where it came from.
How did he play before? The thing about Zuccarello is he's shown flashes, but he's hardly established himself as a legit NHL player. My point is the way he "played before" was hardly consistent.
Fascinating to see how much discussion Zucc can create. Where is the Pyatt thread?![]()
Why is it that currently the best defense of Zuccarello is to point out how bad other players have been?
I'm not sure he will bounce back to because there is such a small sample of work that he hasn't established himself as anything.
I think he's to settled, is that the right Word?
He's been too confident that his spot is safe, he needs to find that "I'm playing/fighting for a New contract" mentality again..
When he finds that, he'll show flashes of goodnes again.
But until he does, he'll be at a cross road..
This is the first time he's been scratched due to performance so far..right?
This debate is a bit like playing with a boucing ball / ping pong.
He's had 0 Points in 7 games, and app 0.5 points in the 67 games before that. If he can get back to be a + player producing 0.5 a game, that would be an improvement from being a healthy scratch. Hence the bouncing. And of course it's relevant to compare him with his rivals on the team when we are debating why he's scratched, as you gave an explanation for above. He's in an absolute, and maybe also a relative slump and I have no problem with him being scratched, but if you cannot even recognice that he's been way better / the physics of a boucing ball (not sure which one) it's hard to find a starting point.
I cant fathom how a player that has accomplished so little at the NHL level would be complacent.
He probably looked around at who he was competing with...

But see that's the thing. He's compiled those misleading numbers of three small sample sizes — not over a 67 game span. He's never showed what he can do over a prolonged stretch.
