Sharks leaving Michkov on the table for them would be a major blessing. Then passing on Michkov in that scenario would be a huge blunder.

I think the Habs would add 31, not sure of other equivalent pieces.

I'm waiting for cbj to grab mich, and SJS to grab smith...
Grier loves sweedes If Carlsson is on the board he won't move down. If Carlsson is off the board I can see him moving down to the lowest spot being 6 so he guarantees Leonard. He wants competitiveness. That just screams Carlsson or Leonard

what if the interview goes bad with Michkov

What if it doesn't:popcorn:

Montreal Canadiens general manager, Kent Hughes says that Matvei Mitchkov impressed the scouting team during their meeting earlier today.
He says he provided mature answers and is an option if he's still available at #5 tomorrow.
After the Canadiens acquired Newhook today, it looks like they might have set themselves up for a 'best player available' situation tomorrow which very well could be Michkov.

I think the caps will go nuts in order to get Mich. Philly also want Mich. both will offer SMASHING OFFERS to move up and I think one of them WILL get the trade done and get Mich. Habs should get w. Smith but Hughes just might move down to get the 6th 0r 7th + another 1st rounder ( 15-20)
