yeah I think they're hoping to split here for sure, if not they would've gone full out star vs. star but I think they're looking for a shock with Gallardo and then go for the jugular with Hamels in game 2. This is why winning game 1 is so important if we lose game 1, there's probably a good chance this series is short.

Yeah, I'm not really too worried about Hamels. I mean, he's an ace and he can shut bats down, but this team feasts on LHP, and no LHP scares me. I'm not dismissing the ability he has to shut us down, but I will never count us out against a lefty, not with the lineup we can toss out there

I didn't, but a co-worker of my wife's has Game 2 tickets. Another co-worker of mine is going to Game 1 on her friends ticket.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that they'll never show it on TV(when a fan runs on the field)? I mean, clearly you have to be a complete idiot to do that but it's satisfying seeing those people get t-boned by security.

They no longer show it on TV so it doesn't entice other people into doing it.

Like you though, nothing would satisfy me more than seeing these people getting speared right in the ribs.

Yeah, I'm not gonna say it's not funny to see guys get lit up by security, but limiting their exposure is the smart play. You don't give these people recognition, and you limit the amount of idiots who think they'll get some airtime on national tv with their stunts.

On a side note, my brother once fell on the field (in LF foul territory trying to catch a ball that Malky couldn't get to) accidentally and it was actually in the papers in I wanna say Kansas. He blew up a picture of it and got Melky to sign it the next game he went to lol

So pretty much GO YANKEES or I'm going to be stuck in the stupid mammoth late-coming Rogers Centre line for a 330 start

Stroman should be Number 2 starter. His arm is fresh which is huge this time of year. Most pitchers have thrown 200 innings by this time but Stro is just getting warmed up.

I've actually thought about that. Perhaps his injury was a good thing in that regard. His arm might have been maxed out or tired. Instead he's fresh.

She's apparently had concerts all over the states, and after the concert the team that plays in that building has started playing poorly. She had a concert in the Rogers Centre this past week.
