No.you guys always think anything positive said about non-leaf player is attack on a leaf player
Hanifin was never in the question for the Leafs and for good reason. Hanifin isnt good and Canes fans seem to agree. Aside from Marner, Leafs liked Werenski, Provorov and Rantanen. It really isn't loool it's offense, he's been sheltered as **** this season so it's not even a discussion for me. Provorov is probably the only dman I'd take over him in hindsight even if I couldn't make the trade now
Is there proof of that ?Hanifin was never in the question for the Leafs and for good reason. Hanifin isnt good and Canes fans seem to agree. Aside from Marner, Leafs liked Werenski, Provorov and Rantanen.

Not a hope in hell will he be better. His feet are not that great. As skating is going to hold him back.Strome will be a star, he just needs some time, he was going to easily win the AHL point title this season. Strome may end up the better player, who knows.
Well he was today. But so was Carrick and Bozak. I think Marner has a bright future. He may never be an all star as such but good but 25 goal, 65 point guy.
not satisfied with a 4 pt game from mitch and a 8~1 win?Marner was great today, but Babcock only played him 13 minutes.
Bill Peters at this point needs to scratch Hanifin. He was minus 3 and horrible. Not a satisfying performance by "im good because I lead my team in ice time"
Looks like Canes made a huge mistake picking Hanifin.
this guy goes from thread to thread making these kinds of strange posts
Quoted for truthSo do you.
Quoted for truth
That guy is a strange character.
He will starting saying "homers" when someone says something good about Timothy in the World juniors
Werenski was one of the players the Leafs brought to their combine place of some sort. Menzinger mentioned it.
If Marner got taken, Leafs would have moved down for one of the d man, provorov or Werenski.
Basically Leafs were not interested in Strome or Hanifin, and its looking like the correct decision.

Can you imagine the freaking out on this board right now if Strome was taken? He'd be hailed a bust. Marner got 61 points last year and everyone is freaking out.Strome will be a star, he just needs some time, he was going to easily win the AHL point title this season. I don't agree he'll be a star at all. Just too slow. Second line C.
the AHL is a different league. nothing Strome has done in his career is as impressive as 60 points in the NHL and there's no indication he'll be anywhere near as good as MarnerI dunno, hard to say, he was about to light up the AHL in points at age 20, he is gifted scorer.
