Will Filip Mesar achieve his ceiling of becoming an NHL 1st Line Center?

He's top 6 or bust. Don't see him ever being elite but never say never.

Not sure he has a future with the habs tho. Suzuki, Slaf, Caufield, Demidov, Laine are all locks for top 6. Then others like Roy and Hage fighting for that last spot. It's too crowded in MTL.

Laine might not be here, Mesar has been alot better than Roy in the AHL, Hage still needs to develop.

The only knock on Mesar is that he dint have a strong OHL production and that placed him behind other prospects, which is sad in my opinion

I think the Knock is more on his two way play and overall weakness for a C , I like how he looked in Laval before getting hurt tho

He needed coaching, once he got the appropriate coaching he delivered. His OHL production put him behind the prospect list.

I dont think hes weak any more..184 lb is not too bad
