The new Jock Callander?
What a low blow!o_O

Let's hope not. He was ok in a pinch but their games aren't similar.

Koivunen should possibly jump to the NHL roster next season. He thinks the game at an NHL level. Mad skill! Skating still the ?

That was basically the point. Let's hope he's not the new Callander, who used to tear up the AHL. Might've won an A scoring title, can't remember that specific that far back.
But his horrendous skating made him a complete flop in the NHL.

What is your issue with Bunting? He's producing above his pay grade.
For now. He was hot garbage for the first 1/4 of the season. He’s a streaky meh player who we should have been compensating for taking off Carolina’s hands considering the circumstances.

My issue was with Dubas and the deal more than the player himself. Hope he keeps it up and we can turn him into another one of those mid round picks we’ve been stocking up on.

Just as I thought, another jake fanboi!

Bunting has been a point a game player for nearly two months. And he was excellent last year when we acquired him. He got off to a slow start but so did pretty much everyone here. He's playing very well. No he's not Jake, but he's been very good if you have REASONABLE expectations.

You're just butthurt Jakes Gone, boo freakin hoo!

Yeah skating rarely improves. Unless some kind of physiological change happens late in life they’ve been skating that way their entire lives. For players it’s like walking and second nature.

I wouldn't say skating rarely improves, I would say speed rarely improves. If Koivunen becomes slightly more agile/strong on his skates that could make up for weaknesses in speed.

So, what's the latest point in a player's career where they made significant improvements in skating? Asking for no particular reason.....
Hyman just recently.
