Much better period, by both teams. Less turnovers but the teams are not interested in giving up any odd man rushes. Most chances generated from a cycle or turnover in the offensive zone. Petr has been good. Leafs need to work the dirty areas... Zero inside presence so far in this game. That's not going to win you many games.

Why are you breaking up a top line that has been effective this entire time?

If you want to split Nylander and Tavares for a little bit, then fine, but it is not coming at the expense at the top line.

And you are putting Nylander and Tavares back together at some point.
