Right, no Cooke to go knee-hunting. I guess Niederreiter could still hack some captain's wrists into pieces though, so there's hope.
Hacking your captain right out of the playoffs.

As a Jets fan and hockey sadist, I came in here to see the tears, anger and sadness and all I got was you guys giving directions and dining tips to visiting Jets fans coming down for Games 3 and 4.
There's no tears and anger. We've been in the playoffs six straight years without a serious run, and basically no one thinks the Wild are going to win this series. That makes it hard to get too excited... or too upset. We all know how this story ends.As a Jets fan and hockey sadist, I came in here to see the tears, anger and sadness and all I got was you guys giving directions and dining tips to visiting Jets fans coming down for Games 3 and 4.

Dubs was not to blame at all.I dont see how people can blame Dubnyk for anything last night. Laine is a sniper and he was given WAY too much room and he hammered it. Not on Dubs. 3rd goal...yes a deflection but still...deflections are never easy stops and it leaked through. It happens. Thos3 blaming him IMO have never played goal and seem to think it's easier than it is.
The issue was a lack of scoring chances...especially after we took the lead. One shot after it was 2-1? Nothing with that much time in the zone with an empty net? Pathetic.
There is more important things in life then sports so I choose not get that upset about them.As a Jets fan and hockey sadist, I came in here to see the tears, anger and sadness and all I got was you guys giving directions and dining tips to visiting Jets fans coming down for Games 3 and 4.

Oh, I wouldn't go that far. This series is nowhere close to being over. The shot clock was very misleading up until the 3rd period. Wild played pretty much a perfect road game up until 20 seconds after the Parise goal.
I was kidding about the tears and anger. I'm only a sadist when it comes to Leafs fans.
To be clear, I don't think the series is over either. It's more the hope of a deeper playoff run feels impossible at this point. I guess stranger things have happened though. There's no way this series is over.
I'm living in constant fear that the Wild will win tomorrow and blow the Jets out in games 3-4.
The pressure is on
I don't want to blame Dubnyk, and I'm not, because I think he was great for 99.9% of the game, but that Morrow goal cannot go in. It was unscreened, and the deflection occurred 40 feet front of him.
Agreed. He's moving right to left, the shot is low, so he thinks he needs maximize left leg extension, and the puck gets defected, but rather than going in the air where he can use his arms, it cuts back to Dubnyk's right and drop into his five hole, which he tries to close as fast as he can.And i think that kind of thinking shows a lack of understanding of the position. He's moving and the puck changes direction. Yes it is unscreened but it still makes him have to adjust and that is easier said than done when you are setting up for a shot to go one place and it goes another. Its unfortunate but to say he HAS to stop it is ridiculous.
I am not mad at the Jets or their fans, but I am mad at the refs for killing our 2nd period momentum last night. Would have changed the game.reply to jets fan, i dont hate the jets and as long as your team plays clean hockey i dont have any problem with the jets. you have spent years building a big , fast , talented team and if anything im kinda jealous!

Any likely changes to the Wild lineup?
I didn't notice any of your guys leave but might have missed something. thx
Dunno. I kind of expected them to be swapped for Game 2.Wonder why Wild are favoring Soucy over Seeler in the top-4. Maybe they think they can get him to stop pinching all the time?
Ok then.If you want to win a game or a series when you're the decisive underdog, it's not ridiculous.
