I don't think anyone has said anything against "blowing things up" why would you add another player to an already cluttered defense and swap an older player for a younger one?

Your pleasant a demeanor aside... the moves we should be making are young guys with potential not older guys who are as close to a known quantity as you're going to get.

Your whole mindset just screams panic but no thought process to what would happen in the future if that actually occurred

Hes 31, but only signed for 2 more years. 31 isnt exactly ancient, not young obviously, but it's not like hes 38.
