Its Crazy! teams like the Devils (Pretty much shutting down Hall) and Kings who are obviously on the tank path do what they do while we continue to play very important top 3/top 6 guys to get as many points as we can.

I thought they would only sit them when a deal is ready but not sent to the league, then they basically belong to their new team.

This is one reason why this team hasn’t drafted an elite forward in 100 years

It it most likely won't happen unless we get lucky like the Canes did last year. That's the way its gonna have to happen unfortunately. So guessing probably a 6/7 percent chance at first overall and 15-20 percent for top 3 pick this year and maybe next year since we will most likely miss the playoffs again. That is even if you consider Hughes/Kakko/ Podkolzin/Couzins elite?

I think its a fairly common precautionary measure if there is every reason to believe that the deal is going through, as player injury would definitely derail the whole thing. But all we can do is wait and see what happens :)

Ottawa holding all three of their assets back tonight as healthy scratches. I believe NJ is holding Johansson back as well.
 
If DeAngelo is scratched I'm going to assume that is just the way it is and not that he has been traded.

Yet If McQuaid plays I am going to assume the Rangers have extended him and DeAngelo has been traded.

Not really, but I'm not sure I get why they'd play McQuaid.
 
Are we that dumb? We can’t be. We must have brought Lias up to sit these guys right? I mean right?
