Confirmed with Link: Wild Acquire Gustav Nyquist in Exchange for 2026 2nd Round Pick

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Nyquist looks not terribly out of place in the top 6 , it that may be because we are used to watching players who don’t belong in the top 6 play in our top 6

2 a in 11 gp. Looks noticeably slower, to me. Fits right in with the untalented bunch of forwards we have assembled. Gaunce, 1 a in 11 gp, Brazeau 1A in 9gp, Shore 4 pts in 48 gp, Merrill 4 pts, in 60 gp.

Hynes idea of a good game is to lose 2-0.

Guerin's idea of a good team is a bunch of slow, sloppy forwards that are physical and not much else. Leipold won't jettison Guerin though so...

Does anyone else but me want that 2nd round pick back? I had hopes and his first 2 games were promising but it seems like he's lost a gear or two.

In a vacuum, yes.

When I look at how they've drafted, it's meh. The pick just would have been used on another LD to add to the collection.

Even if you don't trust their drafting, they could have used it in another trade later since it was a 2026 pick.

I don't really trust their trading either, so I'm still meh.

I still think it was an overpay (should have been a 3rd), but I'm mostly fine with trading (non-1at) picks for rentals.
