Why don’t people like Mackinnon?

We were in Ireland a few years ago, and if you really like fresh dingleberries, check out the Dingle Peninsula on the west coast. They come right off the vine and almost melt in your mouth.

I don't find him particularly charismatic off the ice. On the ice, he was disappointing for a few years but then went best mode superstar so maybe left overs from that era of disappointment?

Or maybe the MacKinnon hate is manufactured by big sugar?

Great player but has a lot of Crosby-isms without the credibility. I think his intensity rings false relative to someone like Kucherov, who's so naturally in love with the game that he dominates it.

Half of MacKinnon's current swag is also borrowed from the existence of Cale Makar.

Tongue in cheek (mostly) but I always found him kinda annoying with his overhandling of the puck.

You know cradling it back and forth between forehand and backhand and dangling, when there's no reason to do so.

Idk if anyone else hs noticed that about him and his game.
Tongue in cheek or not, one thing is certain, this guy is serious about his dangles. Name checks out.

MacKinnon just seems like a guy who works extremely hard to be his best and expects that of his teammates. He says shit and gets after guys he doesn't feel are doing the same and some people don't like being called out or the "mean" approach but personally that's probably my favorite thing about Nate. It's not an accident he's one of the best players in the game

WAIT! Dingleberries are a real thing? I thought it was just a testicle euphemism

I went dingleberry picking in fall of 2017 myself, good times. They float in your Guinness, too!

Have been a fan of Winnipeg and Dallas the entirety of his career so naturally always rooted against the Avs but I like Nate and Cale as players just could never root for the Avs unless they played the leafs.
