No, I didn't confuse you with someone else.Loved and defended? Got me confused with someone else, I thought it was the right move at the right time, Dubois had all the potential to be something, and he was still young, and teams make trades like that all the time. But how many playoff contention teams, trade top 4 D, at the TDL....I can wait on that answer.
You disparaged Kings fans who hated the trade, and even though they ended up being right, you're back at lecturing them on how teams work. It just seems hypocritical.I am loving the trade, mostly because of the tears of everyone in here who has no idea of anything, (what was Vilardi asking for, how is his health, what is Kopitar doing after next year, etc)

Thing is, they didn't have to wait until the trade deadline. They could have dealt him earlier in the year or last summer because everyone and their brother knew that Spence and Clarke were taking the 2 and 3 RHD spots. They made the playoffs with him - why would they sell him at the deadline as a playoff team?
I characterized it accurately. I can also quote several other times that you supported the trade or defended Dubois, if you insist on denying it. That's not the point, though. The point is that you acted and still act like you know better than other Kings fans. You might wanna read exactly what I wrote.....LOL try again.

Never met a goalpost he wouldn’t move. You know this. No, I didn't confuse you with someone else.

You're assuming that people don't know that, but it's more likely that they realize it and are thinking outside of the box. You can't say that they're wrong just because it goes against conventional wisdom and practice, especially if it's never been done before. There are certainly good arguments for why you shouldn't trade a top 4 D at the trade deadline, but the argument that "teams don't do that" is a very weak one based on precedent rather than solid reasoning. You mean fans bemoaning that a playoff bound team didn't trade a top 4 man for futures?? I know better than those fans how Pro sports works? Well....yeah, considering teams don't do that
